pSYChOLOGICAL SAFETY WEEK 2026

Explore five free, expert-led online sessions from 21-25 September, examining how leaders can create cultures where people feel able to speak up, challenge and contribute.

We are pleased to support Psychological Safety Week 2026, led by business psychology consultancy Pearn Kandola.

This year’s theme, Talent Hushing, explores what happens when people hold back their ideas, concerns or constructive challenges, and how leaders can create cultures built on trust, candour and high performance.

Monday 21 September

The Cost of Silence: What New Research Reveals About Talent Hushing, Team Performance and Leadership.

Professor Binna Kandola OBE, Co-Founder and Senior Partner, opens the week with a research-led keynote on the leadership and performance costs of Talent Hushing.

Tuesday 22 September

Cultures of Candour – How Leaders Are Enabling Challenge, Trust and High Performance.

Moderated by Professor Binna Kandola OBE, this industry panel brings together senior leaders from global organisations to learn how they are building cultures where challenge, trust and performance go hand in hand.

Wednesday 23 September

When Teams Split: Fault Lines, Friction and the Leadership Challenge of Cohesion

Janet Tarasofsky, Managing Psychologist, explores how to leaders can navigate team friction without losing cohesion, candour or performance.

Thursday 24 September

Who Gets Challenged, Who Gets Heard: In-Groups, Out-Groups and the Leadership Dynamics That Shape Performance.

Louise Weston, Partner & Head of People, examines how hidden leadership and group dynamics can shape voice, challenge, innovation and team performance.

Friday 25 September

 Under Pressure – Why psychological safety is vital for success in the changing workplace.

The closing panel, featuring Binna Kandola, Janet Tarasofsky & Louise Weston, explores why some organisations thrive under pressure while others fall behind, and why psychological safety is the critical advantage in a rapidly changing workplace.

Registration and toolkit

Spaces are limited and all five sessions were oversubscribed last year, so early registration is recommended. A supporting toolkit, including posters, and social media graphics is also available to help promote for organisations wishing to promote the week internally.
