Payroll Giving is an easy way to make tax-efficient regular donations through your salary. It is sometimes known as Workplace Giving or Give As You Earn.
The easy way to give each month
If you want to make a regular donation to Charity for Civil Servants, Payroll Giving is a great way to do it.
Once set up, donations are deducted automatically from your salary before you pay tax. That means that your donation goes further. It will help more civil servants going through tough times.
You can change or stop your donation at any time.
How much will my donation cost?
Here are three donation amounts. The donation is the amount you pledge from your monthly gross salary. Underneath is what it will cost you from your take-home pay.
Standard (20%), higher (40%) and highest (45%) rate taxpayer amounts are shown.
There is no minimum or maximum amount you can give.
You donate (per month): | £5 | £10 | £15 |
---|---|---|---|
Cost to you as 20% tax payer | £4 | £8 | £12 |
Cost to you as 40% tax payer | £3 | £6 | £9 |
Cost to you as 45% tax payer | £2.75 | £5.50 | £8.25 |
How will I be helping Charity for Civil Servants?
A gift through your salary each month will help us be there for civil servants. We support current, former and retired civil servants when they face tough times. From mental health struggles and financial assistance to relationship issues, getting through grief, and coping with disability, we’re here to help people stay strong, whatever life brings.
We’ve been here for civil servants for generations. We provide an umbrella of support when its needed.
You’ll be helping people like Stephen, who needed support after his marriage broke down.
