This resource has advice to help you look after yourself and who you care for.
Developed in partnership with Carers UK, the Digital Resource for Carers is packed full of information, guides and tools.
You can access it at any time, anywhere, all free of charge.
- a range of e-learning courses, guides and downloads on topics such as health, wellbeing, assistive technology and young carers
- the Upfront guide – a unique self-assessment tool that gives you personalised advice and information and details about how we may be able to support you
- access to the Carers UK online forum where you can interact with other carers
- the Jointly smartphone app – a free tool to help you manage shared caring responsibilities (normally £2.99).
How to get the resource
1. Click on ‘Access the resource’ and you’ll go to the Carers UK website log-in page.
2. Log in or create an account if you are new to the Carers UK site.
3. Copy the passcode DGTC2273 as you’ll need it to access the resource.
Once you’ve signed up, you can access the resource whenever, wherever and as often as you wish.
Clicking on the ‘access the resource’ button will take you to the Carers UK website. You will be bound by their terms and conditions.
Note: Due to IT access restrictions across the Civil Service, we’d recommend accessing the resource on your smartphone, tablet device or home computer.
