Thrive app

Digital therapy and mental health support at the touch of a button.

About the app

We’ve teamed up with Thrive, which gives you access to 24/7 mental health support.

The app features 100+ hours of content with evidence-based tools to support your mental health and wellbeing. It includes guided relaxation exercises, calm breathing tutorials, progress tracking and goal setting and a mood journal.

It also gives you the opportunity to access further support from professionals if you need it, such as a chat with a therapist and access to counselling support.

Here’s how to activate your complimentary 1-year access.

How to get the app

Go to the Charity for Civil Servants portal:

  1. Click the log-in to portal button below.
  2. Sign in to the portal. Or register for an account if you haven’t got one already.

Once you are in, you’ll need to register for the app:

  1. Go to ‘Apply for Help’. Then, ‘Services’.
  2. Select Thrive app from the options and click ‘Start Application’.

Once you have submitted the short application, you’ll get a message in your portal account telling you how to download the app. It will give you an access code to activate your license for a year.

Stephen’s story
The support from the Charity for Civil Servants has been invaluable to me. It really has had a massive impact on my quality of life. This enabled me to move out but still live close to my daughter. I now have my own space to rebuild my life. At a time when I was starting from zero, I felt like the charity kept me going.
