We’ve partnered with Breathworks to bring you a range of resources to introduce you to the practical techniques of mindfulness.
Mindfulness for health course
Breathworks also offers an eight-week online Mindfulness for Health Course for anyone suffering with pain, illness, fatigue, long-COVID or long-term health condition looking to manage their work and life with ease.
This online course offers live weekly learning sessions and online learning tools and resources you can access at any time. You can interact with the teacher and other participants.
How to get this course
If you need help with the cost of this course, we may be able to offer financial assistance. Please follow the steps below to apply via the CFCS portal:
- Click the log-in to portal button below.
- Sign in to the portal. Or register for an account if you haven’t got one already.
Once you are in, you’ll need to register for the app:
- Go to ‘Apply for Help’. Then, ‘Click to Access’.
- Select ‘Fill in Application Form’ and ‘Click to Access’.
- Select ‘Financial Assistance’.
- Complete the application. When asked to provide information about the issues and support you need, please enter ‘help with Mindfulness for Health Course’.
Community of Practice
The Breathworks Community of Practice platform is a community space for anyone interested in mindfulness. It is free to join. You can access free resources and online events plus two free courses:
- Mindfulness for managing long COVID – a 7-stage self-paced course for people with long COVID.
- Methods to live well with pain and illness – a 10-day course for living well.

Breathworks have launched a new 12-day Mindfulness Toolkit for Tough Times. This is a 12-step self-led course with 5-15 minute daily mindfulness tips and practices sent to your inbox. It covers how to deal with unpredictability and stress.
