As a neurodiverse adult, Jonathan wants to encourage others to be kind to one another. When he was having a particularly stressful time, he approached the Charity for help.

The Charity for Civil Servants signposted me to key resources and through ‘Autism and ADHD’ paid towards sessions with a coach who specialises in supporting neurodiverse adults. Subsequently, I’ve grown to accept who I am in the workplace and not feel like it’s something I ought to hide. It’s something I can now embrace.

Because of initiatives like the Community Lottery, the Charity has been able to fund specialist support through organisations like ‘Autism and ADHD’.

Jonathan now wants to pay forward the help he received from the Charity by spending his free time raising awareness of neurodiversity within the Civil Service. He wants to encourage people to be proud of who they are.
