Charities & Partners Week 2025

We are proud to be a part of the 3^rd Charities & Partners week, taking place 17 to 21 March 2025. The week celebrates three organisations that are here to support civil servants while also showing you the benefits of being involved in their communities. Getting involved and supporting these organisations, in turn helps to contribute to supporting all civil servants.

Without your involvement our organisation would not be able to support civil servants with the help they need. In the Civil Service Charities & Partners week, it’s a great time to reflect on how you can get involved and not only make a difference to others, but yourself too.

Get involved with your Civil Service community

Charity for Civil Servants
The Charity for Civil Servants supports current, former and retired civil servants when they face tough times. They’re ready to help when the unexpected happens, helping people stay strong, whatever life brings. Get involved today and sign up to their Mega Miles Challenge – rack up the miles this May and raise money to support colleagues that need their support right now. You can also stay in touch with the charity to hear more about their work, fundraising activities and ways to get involved by signing up to their newsletter.

CSSC (Civil Service Sports Council)
Becoming a member of CSSC provides free days out, sports, health and wellbeing benefits together with savings, discounts and offers on a huge range of retail and leisure opportunities. CSSC are proud to be a volunteer led organisation and it’s those volunteers that help to make everything CSSC do possible. The volunteers turn great ideas into fantastic trips, adventures and events for members and their families. Feeling connected and part of something bigger matters and with a diverse range of flexible opportunities, there is something to suit everyone! Find out more about CSSC.

The Civil Service Retirement Fellowship
Dedicated to helping former civil servants and their dependents make the most of their retirement. All the income received from subscriptions helps with the delivery of the befriending schemes, local community groups and Freephone advice helpline. You can register online and find out more about all the Retirement Fellowship’s charitable services, community and the difference their services make to both volunteers and service users.
