The London Marathon is a prestigious race held in London, that takes runners through the city’s iconic landmarks and attracts a massive crowd of spectators.

Joining #teamcfcs
If you’d like to join #TeamCFCS for the 2027 London Marathon, please firstly apply for a ballot place. Deadline to apply is 4pm, Friday 1 May and if you are successful you will be notified early July.
We have a limited number of charity places available and if you would like to be considered for one of these, please complete our application form. If you are successful, there will be a £75 registration fee and minimum fundraising target of £2,000.
We’d love you to join #TeamCFCS.
All Team CFCS runners will receive:
- A technical running top to wear on race day
- Support throughout your fundraising journey
- A fundraising pack full of hints and tips
- Support with raising awareness of your heroic effort amongst the Civil Service community
- A post-race reception and cheer squad along the route
