Support through grief
As many of us look ahead to summer breaks and time with loved ones, it is worth remembering that grief does not pause for the season. Someone around us may be grieving, even when their loss is not immediately visible.
Grief can affect any of us, and everyone experiences it differently. There is no single right way to grieve and no fixed timetable. What helps one person may not feel right for another, and that is completely normal.
The Charity offers free access to the Grief Works app, created in collaboration with Julia Samuel MBE, a psychotherapist, author and grief expert with more than 30 years’ experience supporting bereaved people.
The app provides guidance and practical tools to help you understand and cope with grief. It explores experiences that can be a common part of grieving and helps you recognise when reaching out for additional support may be helpful.
Whether your loss is recent or happened some time ago, you do not have to navigate grief alone. Support is available when you need it.
