Alongside our webinars, the Charity continues to offer free, confidential support for carers, including financial help, practical advice and wellbeing support. As Your Charity for Life, we’re here for the moments that matter, so that no civil servant has to face life’s challenges alone.
Carers Week 2026: Supporting carers across the Civil Service
Carers across the Civil Service community will be supported through a week of expert-led webinars as part of Carers Week 2026.
As part of Carers Week 2026, the Charity will run a Monday to Friday webinar programme from Monday 8 June to Friday 12 June.
Sessions will cover key topics including maintaining energy and wellbeing, supporting someone with cognitive decline, navigating grief and bereavement, and managing relationships while caring.
Speakers include experts from Vital Nutrition, Cruse Bereavement Care, Dementia UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Relate, Autism and ADHD, The Carer’s Trust alongside contributions from the Cross Government Carers’ Network.
The week aims to recognise the vital role carers play across the Civil Service, while offering accessible, practical support that can make a real difference day to day.
Caroline Fielding, Director of Help, Advice and Services said:
Tom, who received support from the Charity to fund life-saving equipment for his daughter, said:
The impact of the Charity’s help has not only been potentially lifesaving for my daughter, it’s provided peace of mind for the whole family. We’re not constantly sleep deprived anymore thanks to your help.
Carers Week provides an important opportunity to highlight the challenges many colleagues face alongside their roles, and to ensure they know where to turn for support.
Colleagues are encouraged to explore both the webinar programme and the wider support available.
