Pedal with Purpose: The Glasgow to Edinburgh Charity Bike Ride
On 22 August 2025, JP Marks CB, First Permanent Secretary and Chief Executive of HM Revenue & Customs, and our CEO Jonathan Freeman MBE, will swap boardrooms for bike helmets as they tackle a 60‑mile ride from Glasgow to Edinburgh. An act of unity to raise funds for Civil Service colleagues and their families and strengthen our entire community — as we know we’re better together.
Last year alone, we helped civil servants over 74,000 times. This incredible challenge will help us grow the support we can give even further, and thanks to the support of Newton, every pound you donate will be doubled (up to a total of £1,500) meaning your donation will go even further!
