Supporting the HMPPS Women's Rugby Team

The Charity for Civil Servants is delighted to award HMPPS Ladies Rugby Union Team a Community Grant.

The Community Grant is to support wellness and community across women in the Prison Service and beyond. The grant will support the team across the season and a Festival of Rugby event in August.

HMPPS Ladies Rugby Union hosted an event on Wednesday 4 March at Newbold on Avon RUFC at a ‘Give to Gain’ day, celebrating women in rugby and beyond, tying into International Women’s day on Sunday 8 March. The event included three matches from teams across HMPPS, Civil Service, Fire & Police with a formal evening dinner.
